Hello, I am new to this forum and I recently purchased a cast photo allegedly signed by the original cast of Star Trek. I won this item via a silent auction fundraiser through my employer. The photo is authenticated by The Autograph Store a company I knew nothing about prior to a google search which has terrified me beyond belief due the many dubious claims others have made about them. Here are some photos of the signatures for knowledgeable posters to evaluate. Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

The first L in Kelly matches the L in Barrets name underneath almost perfectly. Anyway sorry I dont think this photo is any good. I hate to see these things happen to people.

Fake

When did you purchase and how much did you pay? Each one is fake

I hate cast signed items, they send shivers up my spine :( They probably remind me of the time I got scammed, I haven't completely recovered from that burn.

I've noticed that the autographs on cast signed items are often signed with the thickest pen available, almost like a paint brush. I'm wondering if that may be a deliberate choice made by the forgers to make their job easier.

Hi David, just curious what cast signed item you were burned on? I guess I was naive assuming a charity auction item was legit.
I picked it up about a month ago through a silent auction to support The Hurley Foundation a not for profit charity organization sponsored by my employer. I know that they would not willingly associate with a fraudulent organization. I am now compelled to pay PSA or another reputable company to confirm the ugly truth. At least then I will have tangible proof to report to my employer so that they never do business with these thieves again. I recall other items in that auction allegedly signed by M. Jackson and other music and sports celebrities. How do these people not get shut down or prosecuted for these blatant acts of thievery?
