Authenticity is Everything
Silver paint pen on black/white photo
Over the weekend, I had Peter Criss sign a bunch of things. All came out great, except for one. While I was removing a freshly signed item off the table, he signed the next item (a b/w photo) with a silver paint pen (I was going to hand him a green pen, but he was too quick).
So now i have a black and white photo signed in silver, which means the signature and inscription can hardly be seen. My question is this:
Is there anything i can do or buy that will make this signature pop? Anykind of spray or chemical that will not harm the item, yet change the ink color?
May sound like a radical idea, but I am no expert, so I thought Id turn to those who are. Cant be such an unusual dilema, right?
Thanks for any ideas/solutions/thoughts that anyone can share.

The only thing you have going for you is that Silver won't fade like most other felt tip pens.
There is nothing that you can do to the piece that will "fix" it, but if you do choose to display it, set up a lamp or light source nearby that you can shine directly on it when someone is looking at it.
The extra light source will allow you to angle the light to show off the signature in a better light (pun intended)
The signature itself won't fade, but the photo may still react badly to a bright light source, over time......so don't leave the light shining on it.....just when you are showing it off or looking at it yourself.
