Hey all. As I have been searching auctions I have found baseballs that are smudged. For some, the smudging is faint but some have significant smudging. Here is a baseball that I was considering. Would you, as a customer, purchase this ball based on it's physical appearance or would you pass due to the smudging? This is the smudge:

Would you consider this minuscule smudging that would hardly affect the value? Or would it drastically affect the value of the ball as a whole?
Would you still purchase a baseball that is smudged; would it still retain it's value even if it's only slightly smudged or physically "tainted?" IE. In relation to the "going-rate" value of, let's say, a Mickey Mantle or Jeter signed baseball, how much would you personally pay for a slightly smudged baseball signed by one of those athletes?
Feel free to share your experiences, thanks and God Bless! -Mike
