Thank you in advance for your help.

I bought a signed Stan Musial jersey a little over a year ago, a few weeks before he died. I was just getting into the hobby. It's authenticated by Stan the Man, Inc., but there's a small tear in the hologram on the jersey. The guy from whom I purchased it said that he'd had it signed by Stan about a year earlier (so about a year before he passed). Anyway, I'd love to get a Stan expert's opinion on it. Since it's a jersey, and he was quite old, I'm just not sure what to expect. I've compared it favorably to some other jersey signatures of his, but unfavorably to others. Please let me know your thoughts, and thanks again!

I have a signed photo and a signed baseball from earlier in his life, before he got shaky, but I had an opportunity to pick up the signed 1944-style M&N jersey, so I took a chance on it. Thanks again for the input and examples everyone. He truly was the greatest Cardinal - and a great St. Louisan.

just wanted to post this example from a 2012 topps tribute on card autograph.

That is a beautiful card Erich, I have actually started collecting on-card autos more than flats/balls of late. Leaves no question as to whether the item is authentic, and are often quite cheap. (And I can store more) =)

I know right.  On card is the way to go though.  don't get those stickers.

It's really sad to see sigs like this. I think it's probably authentic, and the Stan The Man, Inc COA is totally legit.

Here is an even worse example that really just breaks your heart:

Your right Ryan....That's why he was cancelling shows, because he was so frustrated with his signature. Just like the Mick, he wanted to give his fans the best. RIP Stan

man Ryan sweet card but the musial is heartbreaking

here is another Musial example of his shaky signature.  This one also authenticated by PSA.  My guess on these is that PSA had to have been at the show to authenticate this.

Yeah, they had too. Its a shame what happen to his signature. Great player

Parkinsons man..Parkinsons

I say authentic, I got him about a month before he passed and mine was very similar to this jersey by being shaky!!

Tim you think you could post a pic of yours.  Right before he passed.
