Hello Everyone, New member here.. Hope you are enjoying bank holiday Monday & can help me please. Been a fan of Star Wars since I saw it as a 7 year old in ’77, i’m now a 46 year old grandad and still as big into it. I’ve collected all my signatures in person over the last 15+ years apart from a few months ago when I purchased a Mark Hamill & Carrie Fisher from eBay. They didn’t even look right and I got my money back but I have since took a chance on buying another one, again from an eBayer that got it from Stage Nine Entertainment in Sacramento. What do you guys think? Genuine or fake. I paid £30 in p&p.

I will try to get an in person signing with Carrie & Mark in the future, I don’t mind paying the asking price but i just liked this picture. Thanks for any input. Mike

I replied in the other thread as well, this is not authentic.

I don't know the company you bought from, but you should stick with Official Pix or Coolwaters if you are looking for a Carrie.

Both Mark and Carrie will likely be at the next Celebration in Europe this summer.

Good luck

Thanks for your time Pete, I will look at both companies and the Celebration too.

I respect your knowledge and will be spending a lot of time on this site from now on.

All the Best

Official Pix was the only officially Licensed autograph dealer of Star Wars autographs before the Disney buy out. They did not renew the contract with Disney but their friendships with the celebrities remain.

OP did a signing with Harrison Ford in March, plan a signing with Mark Hamill in the 3rd quarter of 2016, and have done multiple signings with Carrie through the years.

Coolwaters is the signing agent for many of the Star Wars celebrities and has done signings with all three.

Unless you deal with someone well versed in Star Wars autographs, I would recommend these 2 above anyone and everyone else.

You may find a deal on an autograph, sold by a third party, signed by anyone of the 3, but be sure to check for the fact that the piece comes with a COA and matched hologram from Official Pix or Coolwaters, and you won't ever have to guess again.

Hello Pete,

Thanks for your advice in May, Ive really been enjoying your posts on this site.

Im going to Celebration on Sunday 17th July already paid for a photo with Mark & Carrie , I'll get a signed photo of each also. Would i be correct in thinking  that will have a good choice of official photos i can choose from to sign?

I've had my eye on a Coolwaters Harrison & Carrie signed photo for a little while & after speaking to Derek he did me a very nice discount. Of course still a fair bit of money but what do you think to it? It came with the matching holograms for both.

Well all the best Mike

Heres most of the additions Pete

The photo is perfect, nice addition of the XXO from Carrie, and a nice solid Ford signature.

I really have no idea what to tell you about the photos that Mark & Carrie will have at CE. Official Pix is not running the autograph hall and no one seems to know who is.

The promoter of the show or whoever runs the autograph section of the show, tends to be the supplier of the photos.  I might suggest that you look around the show and purchase a photo that you really love before getting into lines for the signings.

Better safe than sorry.

Hey Pete,

Thank you for the positive feedback on my photo & also again for your advice, I can't believe how much rubbish is out there some don't even look anything like the real deal.

Yes it seems a bit sketchy regarding Celebration, Ive still got time to get hold of some nice photos.

See you mate ;)
