Strangest request for help yet, does anyone read arabic?

I was given a page of notes from a family member of a noted linguist that worked in films of the 1970's and 80's.

He is unfortunately no longer with us.

Anyone who can provide some insight as to what any of this is, or any kind of translation....it would certainly be much appreciated.

Please feel free to ask anyone you would like. I would really love to know if this is indeed Arabic and if so what it says.

For all I know it may just be jibberish, but not knowing is driving me nuts.
