I am looking to connect with the current owner of the Nirvana signed Nevermind insert that was part of the Christie's 8240 Pop, film & Entertainment Auction, specifically Lot 179 / 395554. (listed on Christie's site as both) Dec 1998

The insert was signed in black pen at the Palaghiaccio, Rome, 22^nd Feb 1994. The lot originally included the signed CD insert, in a common mount with a colour machine print publicity photograph of Nirvana and a b/w signed photograph, which I believe I have.

The lot was accompanied by a letter of authentication detailing provenance from Ian Beveridge and Alex McClead.

I purchased this signed photograph, along with an authentic Love Buzz 7” single from the late Bill Cottom at Memories Record Shop in Greenwich London after a Nirvana collector sold him some of their collection in the early 2000's.

I believe the original lot items were separated, which is why I only have a photocopy of the original Beveridge/McClead authentication letter, which I received when I bought the photograph. I believe the the original or current owner of the signed Nirvana CD insert has the original document. I am reaching out to see if we can collaborate to verify our matching pieces, or discuss reuniting the photograph with the rest of the lot, or just for them to confirm this is the photograph sold with the original lot, as I am trying to build a provenance trail.

To establish my credibility I can provide veritable proof of my historic collection. I recently sold

the authentic Sub Pop Love Buzz 7' single, with a letter of provenance (which I bought alongside the signed photograph, with the copy of the letter of provenance from Bill Cottom, Memories Record shop in Greenwich SE London in the early 2000's)
