Ted Williams 8x10, no COA

I found this on ebay this week.  Seller says they got it TTM nearly 40 years ago.  It is listed without authentication.  What do you think?

It's absolutely hideous, which is why it's listed for $29.99 BIN with a "fairy tale" story.

Question is...if it's a forgery, why didn't ebay remove it per their autographed items policy?

Because they're absolutely awful at it.  Ebay is flooded with forgeries, and they barely react to the problem.

Daniel there is no if about it, it is horrific. Even a newbie collector should not be fooled by this crap. 

And eBays "autographed items policy" LOL. Thousands of forgeries sold on eBay every day, they don't care, they make money off of it.

Just a couple other things to consider:

1)  If the seller even though it might be real, it would certainly not have a $29.99 but it now option.

2) If someone was selling an authentic one for $29.99, it would be long gone.
