Ted Williams Signature - real or fake?

You guys were so helpful when I posted my pic of the Mantle/Dimaggio ball, that I thought maybe you could help me verify authenticity of a Ted Williams signed photo I'm thinking of buying. Thanks again for the help!

I see, I guess I just never spent enough time analyzing authentic autographs. It's definitely something I'm going to be more conscious of. I actually do have some authentic autos of Mantle and Dimaggio (a mantle UDA no. 7 ball that my dad got in '94, and a signed Yankee Clipper Dimaggio book that my dad got when he randomly met him in the mid '80's). I guess I'm just afraid to even touch the stuff, so I've never bothered taking it out and analyzing the signatures.

I would say its bad. I do not like the slant or the letter formation of the last name.
