I am new to this so this is a newbie question. I noticed an autograph on a Official national\American\Major league ball will get more on ebay. So the ball makes a difference. Why is that? The ball last longer? The autograph fades easier on an none major office major league ball? Please education this newbie.

Thanks

alot of it has to do with the fact that the leather is genuine or fake leather.  who wants a ball signed by derek jeter with a made in china stamp right above or below that awesome sig.  ROMLB also will cost around 15 bucks a ball and alot of the others are half the price or less.

People like to have major leaguers on major league balls, and most other balls are poorer quality and look it.

I saw a really nice signed Ted Williams ball with JSA and it only going for 190$ on auction then I noticed its is not a ROMLB

If you are interested in buying one, if possible post a picture and ask nicely for opinions.

This one was sold at another auction for 190. The buyer I guess list it on ebay.
