I have come across a Promotion signed by Theodore Roosevelt and I was hoping someone could help me out with the value of it. Thanks ahead of time!!! To all to whom these presents shall come, greeting:

Know ye, that reposing special trust and confidence in the integrity, diligence, and discretion of, Charles B Frost of Eureka, California

I have nominated, and by and with the advice and consent of the senate, do appoint him to be

Register of the Land Office at Eureka, California

And do authorize and empower him to execute and fulfill the duties of the office according to law, and to have and so hold the said office with all the rights and emoluments thereunto legally appertaining unto him, the said Charles B Frost, during the term of four years from the date hereof, unless this commission be sooner revoked by the president of the united states for the time being.

The testimony whereof I have caused these letters to be made patent and the seal of the department of interior to be hereunto affixed
