Does anyone else besides me dislike getting autographs when they're signed with a Sharpie? I really do not like to see a signature done with them..the appear to have been written with a paintbrush!!...no subtleties to the signature!!..give me a good 'ol fashioned ballpoint pen anyday!!!!!!! Anyone else agree? or disagree? If you like Sharpie signatures, why? Just curious

I use ultra fine tips sharpies and they are great. You get all the wonderful subtlties to the signers style. Give em' a try.
DC, I tried this once with Connie Stevens and the darn thing dried out on me.  She has a ball point pen to do the job with.
I prefer the sharpie. To me they are more permanent. Ballpoint always seems to leave a indentation on the photo or signature card
I only use ball point pens on baseballs.
I dont like blue sharpies, I noticed that they fade alot faster then black.
But it seems like the fad for collectors to want to get there items signed
in blue.
