Authenticity is Everything
Thoughts on this Dale Earnhardt Sr. signed tire?
I just acquired this DE Sr. tire and wanted any thoughts on it. First, is it authentic? Second, any idea what the other markings on the tire mean (specific race, Right Rear tire, Set 3, 9525, etc.)? Third, if it is indeed authentic, what's something like this worth? Thanks for any responses.

It is authentic. and it is a BEAUTIFUL signature.
The numbers should be batch # that Goodyear uses ( they have changed things over the years )
The RR is Right Rear & #3 is the set #
There is usually a signifier for the race it was used at. However, this could be a test tire.
Dale sold these tires at his shops when he was alive for $150 ( as many as you wanted ). I have seen them sell for as much as $2000 after his death.
Today's tires have a lot more writing and codes on them.
