Thoughts on this Ted Williams

I think it’s legit, but I know he had issues signing balls in the early 90s and it looks almost too clean and good

I'm looking at this again. I didn't notice the sticker on top of the ball. Green diamond possibly? What I'm guessing anyway. That was Ted's or even his son's authentication company. ITguy? What makes you think it's legit? To me, there's no flow to the auto. The letters are spread too far apart. The autograph looks to be very slowly done. I still don't like it.

I know that Williams had trouble signing baseballs in the 90s. So that could be why it looks slow.

and yes it’s, green diamond. And the auto has some characteristics that look good to me. But I also know his son was known to try his hand at forging his fathers signature and put a green diamond holo on it. The D and elements in Williams look shaky to me. So I always take a green diamond hologram as a positive, but always want another sticker from JSA, Beckett,

or PSA beside. Hence why I posted it here. The fact that it has a green diamond cert means most likely it’s legit, but it’s not 100%

Exactly. Not liking it and actually thinking it's a forgery are two different things.

Ask them to show you the certificate.

Funny.  For the exact reason Mr. Zarelli stated,  the baseline and flow of signature. Teds signature had a straight forward baseline..just my opinion.

I think it’s authentic for the reasons Mr. Zarelli believes make the item not authentic.  Anyway it’s just my .02.. happy holidays..
