TIRE KICKER:
Someone who is indecisive about purchasing a product or service, and never feels satisfied with what they are offered. In the end a tire kicker may or may not buy. The term comes from sales people at car dealerships. Tire kickers would come around frequently, kick the tires a few times on the cars that they liked, but never make a solid purchasing decision on any particular car or trim.
That tire kicker has come here every day for the last month, don't waste any time on him.
I have came across a few of these tire kickers but one in particular in this forum who collects only his favorite artiste autograph tops the list. He had approached me several times to offer to buy one of my autograph from my collection. After haggling, we agreed on a price but before he was to sent his payment, he would try to renege on his offer price to try to get renegotiate again. He would promise to sent payment but payment never arrive. He would always give some excuses for not sending his payment. BTW he would always shout out that he is interested to buy when he see someone post his favorite autograph on this forum. Watch out for this tire kicker!!!
I would like to hear from anyone who had the same experience. Maybe the forum could set up a section called " Bad People To Deal With" for forum members to post their legit grievances on buying or selling autographs.
Cheers,
JS

There should be a section for it.

Agreed, good idea and would warn others who to avoid etc

I had that happen only once here lead on and on about buying something agreed on a price dug up the coa and recipt and then instead of sending payment just stoped replying. happens all the time on kijji/craigslist

I've only dealt with a few on here and so far all A+ to deal with. Guess I've been lucky. I've only been a buyer though. Guess it's different when selling. A real shame.

I've had good experiences as a seller. Now someone buy my Robinson page and Maris card :)

Let me kick the tires a bit. I may or may not be a player. Just not sure yet.

Why not just call this person out by name?  Who is it?

I would discuss it with them through PM and if they don't follow through call them out here.
