Hello everyone, I could use some advice here.

I have a cut autograph of both John Lennon and Yoko Ono Lennon which I had JSA certify with an LOA.

I could use some advice about whether to send it off to be slabbed by Beckett (who JSA uses I think). I guess my other alternatives are to send it to PSA to re-authenticate and slab, or sell it as is.

Do you think buyers look down on something that isn't slabbed? I had the JSA sticker put on the LOA, and one person told me they were concerned that they wouldn't get the item in the picture. This is a very expensive item, so I want to maximize my sell price here.

Thank you for anyone willing to lend me advice.

Personally I hate the look of slabbed cuts. I avoid them.

If I do buy a cut, I go to the local michaels and pay $150 or so to get it custom framed with a picture. They often have sales with framing as well. They are very good with coming up with ideas in terms of visual appeal.

Maybe you could do the same? Get a picture of John and yoko and get it custom framed with the cut. That way you could get even more due to how visually appealing it would be and people would not have to worry about them not receiving the exact item as it would be already framed.

Agreed get it framed. Will look so much nicer.

All of my Beatles autographs...handwritten notes...'to do" lists....signed receipts...Parlophone promo card...Sutcliffe signature.....

..Sutcliffe sketches....Sutcliffe poetry...everything....is framed with acid free backing and framed with a photo and UV glass...and I think you should go to a local framer and get it done up right. It will protect your investment for the future...and it'll make a nice display...

Just some examples of some of my stuff that I've had matted and framed...

Stu Sutcliffe poetry from 1960...

How do you know that's his hair?

Purchased it at auction...came from the daughter of the woman who got the hair from Paul for her back in 1964...she was an airline hostess....

Thank you everyone. I really appreciate the advice. Any advice on selecting a photo to have it framed with? I wonder if I choose the wrong photo if people will be less inclined to purchase it.

If you can find a photo of John and yoko performing imagine(the imagine video), I feel like people would be more inclined to buy it since it was such a big hit and still is.

Just my opinion.
Also get it professionally printed in a lab. Don't do it yourself.
