I just received this email from New England Picture who does many autograph signings in the Mass area. Does anybody else think $900-1k for an autograph signing is a bit ridiculous, especially if you aren't even going to meet him? I know Tristar's signings were at around $600, which was ridiculous on its own, but now $1k??!?

Would anybody actually pay for this? Just wanted some opinions from other members.

Here's the link to the signing:

That first post-Super Bowl 45 was a massive undertaking at his home in Chico, CA in late February 2011.  I want to say it was like a 4 - 5 hour affair.  Huge demand vs. relatively little available on the market previously.

Here's mine on a 16 x 20.  I'd have to find the receipt, but I want to say this was at most maybe $350 shipped.

That's super nice! Sorta wish he had a better signature but I've seen worse.

I posted on the first page to your response but Rodgers wasn't as tough as people think. Obviously the demand wasn't there because Favre was still the QB. But I've got a jersey a 16x20 think that's all that my autograph seeker from when I was kid will still get me stuff when I ask. Carlos Gomez did a signing for free 5 mins from my house at a grocery store and I didn't even know about it. They actually have been bringing packers to now lately.

That's what was awesome when the Pack won in the 96....everyone was doing the Auto Show, the Fishing Show, all these free signings. Wish I had, had them add verbiage to everything I have. Nitschkie would always sign with his HOF yr.

I've actually got a ball signed by 13 packers from the first two SBs. Max McGee is on there as well but heck..he was a great that should be in the HOF. If my memory service me correct every auto besides McGee is a HOF now..especially with Robinson just going in.

If your a packer fan I've got some really unique items that I don't think I've shown anyone!
And I think the signings here werent private....maybe legends of the field was. I gotta hit they hay...it's late and I can't stare at the computer anymore. Great discussion!
The market will tell what they worth. I'd pay that price if Ali and Jordan were also on it.
It will be interesting to see if Jordan ever does an in person signing and what he could command!. Ali is done! If someone doesn't have one their forced to buy somewhere else. Did you see him on snoops show on Espn? He doesn't even know what's going on. But I would most definitely pay that for an Ali, I've got enough Jordan's. and not UD! In person before signing with UD! Not like I'm special but as some have stated on another thread that all Jordan does is UD...that is not the truth! He's accessible just extremely tough!
I bought a Riddell Proline Brady signed helmet years ago from Steiner for $600. I had Bradshaw and Montana helmets and figured Brady should get 4 rings also. I'm not ashamed of my investment. He might not be the best of all time but he just missed having 5 rings. Small chance he still could. We'd see what it's worth in 20 years.

Well, at least you got a full sized official helmet, which is obviously worth much more than a photo.  Now it looks like $600 won't even get you an 8x10.

Very nice set up Barry!  a mancave!

Thanks Terrier!
The helmet alone cost $200 and up so very good investment!! Nice display!
Thank you SnS.
