Cal is real. Tony, I'm not sure. But I'm not sure why someone would forge him, he was a great signer. What's the hologram next to the MLB one? You might be able to track down what company got this signed, and if they got Cal and Tony.
The Steiner authentication is only for Cal(the cert card only has Cal on it). Gwynn was signed after at some point or they would have included Gwynn on the cert card as well.
I think the Gwynn looks off. What are the characteristics you look for about his signature? I'm not challenging your opinion, if I can learn something, then great. Thanks
I am by by no means an expert on Tony. I have a couple of signatures obtained in person and I have bought some more.
First, the loop that finishes the "T" is almost always shaky and so is his "G". The first name is spot on.
The only think that is atypical to me is that large, loopy "Y" in Gwynn. But if someone were to forge it, why wouldn't they replicate the good "y" in Tony?
Just my two cents.
