Thanks

I have dealt with Top Shelf Autographs before, and have actually purchased 4 items! When I first visited their store at the Okanagan Hockey School years back, they had Justin Pogge in for a live signing in the store (he used to be a Team Canada goalie). I bought one of his signed photos, along with a Crosby autographed 8x10. About two years ago, I purchased a signed Lemieux puck online from them. Finally, I purchased a dual signed 8x10 photo of Ovechkin and Crosby at the Olympics.. It's my favorite of them and all!
Ok ok enough about that lol. I have found them to be excellent to deal with. Their service was fast, reliable, the ones I purchased online arrived with no damage, etc. I had my puck authenticated and certified by JSA, and had by Crosby/Ovechkin certified by PSA. Judging by the fact they had Pogge for an instore signing (and he was big at the time, not so much anymore though) and that both my items were authenticated, I would say they are pretty legit. Most of the items come from private signings from various companies, but he also told me about 10-15% of the autographs come from around the arenas. The only other input I can make is that they are trying to get Gordie Howe in for a signing (I only know this because they replied to one of my emails and told me to keep checking back).
Who knows if this helps or not, but thought I would pass along my experiences. Im not a professional but i do collect a fair amount, so take it for whatever it's worth. cheers
Thank you for your response...ya the hockey items they have all look awesome!!! I have seen some of their Crosby and Ovi pictures (you made a great purchase....they look stellar) And ya take it from me as i live in Toronto i know how big Justin Pogge was (big leafs prospect that never panned out)
However the item im interested in is a basketball item...the seller said he purchased it from Top Shelf Autographs
this is it
Thanks for the kind words! Haha that's cool you're in toronto and know all about pogge. i still love the photo I have of him, but only the big toronto or canada fans know who he is. That's a wicked looking photograph!! i'm jealous lol. it definitely looks fairly legit and all appear authentic. chances are not every autograph is going to be perfect if was done outside an arena or wherever, but overall i would say looks good. i did a bit of research today on as the picture is awesome, and i found a basketball signed by wade and james from upper deck. when i compared the signatures, they look good. not identical, but i would say they are authentic no doubt. fluid pen strokes, the 6 on the lebron is the same style (ie, the loops on the six joins at the bottom), the bottom half of wade's 3 is larger than the top half, etc. the only slight difference on the lebron is the fact that is bottom j isn't looped, or at at least it isn't a big loop if it is. this might be the different in a paid signing vs if they got the autographs on the street.
i used to own a lebron cavaliers signed jersey, but haven't purchased anything of his so far since he has joined the heat. i would love to have something signed by both. unfortunately, i can't add anything on bosh autograph as i've never came across anything of his and not educated enough to make an opinion regarding his. they all look smooth, no shaky hand or anything, which are both good signs. the fact that it's not in china or japan is also encouraging lol. i would say it's a great pickup if you can get your hands on it.
