After spending quite a bit of money on Michael Jackson signatures that did not pass authentication, my quest continues. I was just wondering what kind of things that I should look for to help narrow my search?

One thing that I look for on other artists, is for any kind of inscription. I read an interesting article on here by wascher (not sure how to tag her but if anyone can - appreciate the help!) about distinguishing between the "Love" inscription that Michael would often sign. It seems that Michael's "Love" was more of a loop while a secretarial or forgery is more pointed. Posting the below examples of ones that I am trying to use as case studies:

This one signed in pen seems to be spot on to me - The "Love" is looped and flowing. Almost every letter visible as well.

This one I'm really unsure of - there are loops but this seems a little different than some of the examples I have seen. What are some of the characteristics here to look for?

This inscription looks a little off to me - the LO looks a little too spaced out and loopy - but then the signature itself is hard for me to say what is wrong.

I have seen so many signed hats - the "Love" looks okay but just don't know what to make of the signature. Appreciate everyone's help in offering their opinions and studying these - but, also, if anyone could explain the "why" so that I can understand and make more informed purchase, I would greatly appreciate it!!
