URGENT - Joe DiMaggio Real or Fake?

I have the opportunity to buy this, what do people think of it?

The linked examples all are absolutely no question authentic IMO, and all have several traits I look for in a Joe D signature. The ball in question in the opening paragraph does not, and is a forgery. (Albeit slightly better than the normal crap we see.) The forger got the "J" right and fell apart from there. There are several things wrong with the signature in question, none of which I will share as I'm not going to tip the forgers.

I don't care what else the guy has for sale, I'm going off of the Joe D "sig" alone. I don't know why every time we tell you something is a forgery you try and fight for it? Yes I'm sure it's a good deal, because it's a forgery. If there is any question about the item AT ALL why would you want it to begin with? If you have to look through 50+ examples to find one where the "D" or "M" or "gg"s look somewhat similar, that should be a clue...

Agree with Ryan that it is a "NO BUY". I love you're computer savvy Ryan being able to put the blue circles like that. NICE touch!

I hate the D in question. It looks just like the D in the operation bullpen book so I would steer clear. The other autographs are nothing more than scribble on a ball and detracts from the $12.00 value of the unsigned ball. The Andy Benes is worth $2.00, IMHO
