Very Questionable (to say the least) Derek Jeter Signatures Authenticated by JSA..

I've seen many Derek Jeter signatures over the years, some are god awful and pretty obvious forgeries that people try to sell but over the past year and a half or so I've seen this style of Jeter being authenticated by JSA more and more. I'm very interested in the thoughts of the other Jeter experts. On the second photo not only is the Jeter Bad but the Arod is bad too and James Spence somehow thought they were good and even signed off on the full JSA letter.

Rich, These are all good. The signature on the hat is very early in his career.

Thanks CEE GEE and Jason.  Here are a few more Jeter and Jeter related items.  I was more comfortable with these.

I'm loving that helmet, just hate when they add the #'s to items (9/26) just seems tacky to me but love the helmet nonetheless. I assume that's from the 98 season?

Thanks Jason.  The helmet is from 98.

This is mine from Steiner...just look at that formation...its pretty much all over the place...

Ouch, Hope they didn't charge you for that.lol... That looks like what he signs in public, but look at the "D" how it droops. If he signs for Steiner, a charity or out in public there is always 1 thing that doesn't change and that is the "D", the rest may be sloppy but the "D" is consistent for the most part. The newer stuff he is signing now the beginning line of his "D" is either inside of the "D" or just outside of the "D" that is what he's been doing the past couple of years now.

yup...it was definitely not free...Jeters auto now a days is pretty bad...best thing to do is get something on a upper deck authenticated card or an earlier auto from the late 90's...they just look a straight mess now...

Mine is Also from Steiner but figured I would just post this to add to the discussion.

Typical droopy "D" and notice where he starts the line for the "D" just inside the rest of the "D". this must be from the last year or 2.

my specifics example  was signed just after the 2007 season i believe the back came from a Yankee/Sox game sept 14 2007.

BTW this one is for sale.
