I have been collecting baseballs got a few years now. If i cant get the autograph in person i try to purchase an autograph that is on a era baseball of that player. I have an opportunity to purchase a Warren Giles Baseball. Is it crazy of me to have this autographed in general? I was hoping to have Lou Brock sign this one for me. Thoughts?

Obviously, Brock was playing for 7 years while the Giles ball was used so getting his autograph on a mint ball would be sweet.
However, the ball will cost more than the autograph and the value will not equal the cost. A mint Giles ball will be around $200 and probably another $75 or so to get a Brock autograph at a show.
It will be a long time before that ball would be worth $275 in my opinion.
However, for a collector not looking at future value, it would be a great addition.
