This is my first cd and yes they were sold in the 90s a bootleg. I remember the power of nirvana and other underground bands that we used to swap cassettes for our walkmans at school, bands like Dinosaur jr, Alice in chains. With these bands esp, Kurt had a real sense that his band were on one side of the street while the other sell out bands were riding the corporate train. Unlike today you don't really find Rock artist on one side and produced American idol on the other side of the street. In Australia its a little different because we have alternate radio playing unearthed bands. It was all over to quick. We went nuts being 16 years old for bands like these, Alice in chains did a in store sign in on a school day my mates jigged school to get autographs, one had his front teeth knocked out at their concert. It was a fun time as a teenager. the dirty smelly boys we were. grungers.
