Here is another ball from seller that has 5 cast members signed. I do know that they did have a signing earlier this year for the new season.

I dont know anything about their signatures Crystal, but the sellers proof pictures concern me. First he has tons of those property of slips everywhere which is strange. But as i looked at them further, most of them are covering the actual shot where the signer is signing the item. Their really is no way that this is by chance, as in almost every pic, a piece of paper is covering the actual signed item. The ones that arent covered, you cant see anything about the person signing the ball, basically just a closed fist around the item.

I have seen tactics like this before, where the seller purposely didnt want anyone to see his proof shots of the signing. Odds are, if these paper slips were removed and you zoomed in on the photos you would see where the celeb was not signing the ball in question. I would imagine that is why they did all the covering up with the paper. Their really is non excuse for it otherwise, and the paper slips are placed purposely over the star signing the item. That should be the area you want uncovered because it proves that they were signing your item.

I dont know these signature at all, but i would stay away based on what is going on in this picture. Just my opinion. But good luck and hope you get a nice set.

I think you are on to something. I contacted them to see if they would show more of the picture and this is the reply I got.

Hello The pictures are of this exact baseball being signed. I really don't want to show anymore than what is shown because of other sellers possibly using the photographs for their own use. I can tell you that this event took place in Laguna Beach, California and was not well publicized. Thanks again for interest.

But yeah, thats exactly the reply you would get from someone trying to pull an under handed deal. All they would have to do to accomodate you is to send some pics to your email. And their are many ways to copyright a pic or make it known that its the sellers pic without using those little slips of paper everywhere. And they are definetly placed in strategic areas to avoid showing the exact item. I would be lots of money that the baseball being signed is not the one pictured. Alot of people use tactics like this to make deals. I wouldnt be surprised at all if those werent even the sellers pictures. But i would definetly avoid the item unless they show alot more proof. Just too fishy.

I sent it to quick opinion on psa just to see what they would say. It came back as likely genuine. It took about an hour and half to get the reply back.

Thats interesting Crystal. Maybe its legit. I dont know their signatures enough to tell, but if i were you, i wouldnt touch it. PSA in this case cant really see all the signatures, so its hard to tell. But the pieces of paper are just put in absolutely strategic places. Their is no way that is random. The ball may be legit, but they are definetly hiding the ball in the picture thats being signed. That coupled with the reply you got is a huge red flag. If you want to go further, ask the seller if they will send you some pics to yoru email of them signing without the paper slips. If they say no, then you have your answer. But i would wait for something that is without suspicion. Their is something going on here that is deceptive, it could just be that they are trying to pass false pics and that the ball is real, just form another signing and they didnt have pics of that event. But i highly doubt it.

But i would try the email thing.

I have done some looking on there site and I do see alot of private listings. I also ran into this one that they had already sold.

Good catch Crystal. Their was no need to paper strip the ball on this item, as his fist is covering it. I noticed the exact same with the other ball. When their first covered the ball, they left it visible. While its possible this guy brought a bunch of baseballs with him to the signing, i kinda doubt that. Baseballs for criminal minds actors doesnt really fit. I mean i could maybe see one, but this seller seems to have brought quite a few. I would steer clear.

Especially if they dont send you the photos via email or act even shadier. I think at this point you can rest assure that its a good bet to stay away. The situation just doesnt add up, at least to me. I am a big fan of PSA but i think they dropped the ball on this one. It would honestly take quite a while to examine a baseball signed by all these stars. Especially on something like a baseball where signatures will appear somewhat different than they would on a say a photo. I think if they had it in person to look at and take more time where they could see every signature, the story would be different.

I dont think it would take someone from psa more than 20 seconds to say the ball was real .

If the guy wont send the pictures before you buy the item , I see his point.
If you buy the item and he wont send the proof picture , then there is a problem . But that still does not make the item not authentic. Unless he sends a diffrent ball than the one pictured.

The guy is probably thinking you are gonna steal his pictures and use them . So he probably wont send you them . Ask him if you buy the item , then will he send you the photos with the ball.

You dont get that high of feedback by passing false picturs . There are red flags I look for when I buy. There is not one I see here.

 

Only thing I see is a seller who isnt a professional dealer . He doesnt know how to use photo editing software and he probably has had his proof pictures stolen before.

I looked at the seller's other stuff, and it's honestly not anything I'm remotely familiar with.  Looks like all their auctions are private, which tends to send negative signals.  I don't know.  Maybe they're just overprotective of their images.

Private auctions mean nothing. I dont understand why its a bad thing to hold private auctions. Ebay lets you do it . If its a probelm why doesnt ebay not allow it . It stops unwanted emails. When you bid on auctions in RR or Soethby's they are private. No one knows the winner. I really dont get the logic for saying its a negative signal .

I am not trying to be rude . I just want to know the logic behind what people think.

Every item the person has looks legit to me .
