Thanks everyone for helping!

The sad thing is that he made $350 of the 3 fakes shown above...

I changed this threads title to get hits if someone googles him, and I reported him to ebay! You´re welcome to do the same if you´re up to it...

Thanks once again!

I will follow suit Don.

This is scary. To experienced collectors like you guys, the autograph flaws can be recognized, but in my opinion, these are pretty good fakes. Of the signatures i was familiar with, none were terribly far off. In fact some, were convincing, at least to a novice like me.

What is so scary is that these are good enough attempts that he could sell this type of material all day long, every day of the year. And even collectors that do there research will probably get fooled. This person has skill in my opinion. Not good at all

Yes, this is not the ordinary kitchen-table forgeries...

Hopefully more members will follow and report him, because he will for sure fool a lot of people with theses "good" forgeries!

Don, if you think $350 for those 3 fakes is a lot, he got $305 (US dollars) just for this single Robert Plant and Jimmy Page paper sheet/card.

The Roger Waters signature looks like the seller mimicked it off another signature found on the Roger Waters website and just winged it with the ending downward swaying line leading after the s in Waters.

Dexter, you´re probably right. Nice catch!

Britney is a blatant fake.

I noticed this seller always lists the auction description text and additional info as one .jpg image file, then after the listings end, paid for my the customer, he'll then delete the created .jpg file from the file server he uses, so that there's no trace of it. The only thing that is left behind on the eBay listing, is the auction title and the thumbnail preview of the item up in the top left corner.

That´s really bad and further proof that this forger knows exactly what he´s doing! He even cover his tracks afterwards...

If you feel like it Dexter, please report him to ebay as myself and Carl Ryan have done!

And thanks Al for your opinion on the fake Britney Spears sig!
