What is up with Substance Collectables - Milton Luban

and like all good threads there are discussions witin discussions but this sub-discussion came up on a dealer Milton Lubin & http://www.substancecollectables.com/boxing_hall_of_fame___1

It appears that in 2003 although the Lubans were properly served but they failed to answer the complaint.

DECISION AND ORDER
MARRERO, District Judge.
By order dated July 22, 2003, the Court authorized entry of a default judgment in favor of plaintiffs Tiffany (NJ) Inc. and Tiffany and Company (collectively, "Tiffany") and against defendants Milton and Connie Luban and their company Luban Incorp. (collectively, the "Lubans"), the proprietors of an internet site selling counterfeit Tiffany merchandise in violation of the Lanham Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 1114(1), 1116(d). Upon consideration of Tiffany's written and oral evidence as to its damages, the Court awards Tiffany a judgment in the amount of $573,818.64.

On 17 May 2012 the guys who were building a file heard the following news : He received a letter from the lawyers of Prince Marketing and Super Star Greetings today. Telling him to remove all items and images of Joe Frazier, Micky Ward, Roy Jones Jr, Hulk Hogan, Chuck Zito, Vinnie Paz and the Super Star Greetings logo. This guy is total scum and is getting what he deserves.

I wont pu the photos yet I will leave them as aces in our hands till we have too but I believe there is enough here to make your minds up if this is true or not.

Recently I received some photos that appear to have been photoshopped and were alleged to be used by Milton Lubin to promote his product offerings.  The one on the left is what has been alledged as the real one while the one on the right has been alledged as fake ones that were used as "proof" pictures.

One recent excerpt from Jason;

Since I have no dogs in this fight and Milton Lubin is an AML member here as was pointed out in the intial thread above, it would be pertinent to have some feedback on these claims and allegations.

Is someone with some connection with ebays Trust and Safety going to get this new user ID of Miltons shut down?

He listed some stuff and it got pulled. He listed more stuff and those were also pulled
He hasn't listed anything else since then so they must be on to him

A few pages back it says he is banned from paypal too so hopefully they caught him this time as well

That user ID is still active. Last sale on ebay was on October 30, 2014. Last listings ended Nobember 22, 2014 and all items are graded cards. October 30th he accepted an offer. November 22 back 8 listings at auction all had a reserve that were never met.

Yes and this new info is from the last week. He hasn't had anything else listed since then.

Why is he not shut down. Is he using someone else to get on ebay. I saw many graded cards which I don't think Milton gets into so he must be using this seller to try and move his merchandise.

Milton is the seller
A lot of scammers try and get quick positive feedback a by listing legit items before they put their fakes up. That way they are less likely to be pulled by ebay if they have a track record of having authentic items

I emailed this seller and inquired about items that ended then asked what else they(he) had to sell and was given a few items like george Bush signed baseballs. I asked when they would list them and was told they didn't need to because they had so many other people making private offers so they are trying to sell off ebay and should be off ebay themselves. I asked what did "Price went to $800 with 6-7 days left" meant and below is copy and paste of their (his) response..........

Apparently this user ID needs to be shut down along with listing abilities. Nothing but typical lies, games and deceit. I would assume they would bill through PayPal so PayPal needs to be put in the loop.

He will tell you its ok to release his information any lawyer would, so by all means please let us know so we could send him a few links for his records . Any lawyer would encourage you to stop talking and to tell us his name so we can contact him.

So whats their contact information? We will be waiting.

Lotless2014 is aggressively pursuing sales via emails, sidestepping eBay, as you can see from the copy and paste email below. They are using PayPal to invoice. I hope someone that has a direct link to get to PayPal with proof so PayPal will not allow this seller to utilize PayPal to funnel sales

Latest email to me below. Lotless2014 is heavily pursuing me by telling me their available inventory to sell. They are violating eBay policy of "avoiding eBay fees" as proven here. I have many more emails of this nature but don't want to flood this forum with all of them but would be happy to supply eBay with all they want. Can someone get this in motion?
