I've been looking at examples of Ted Williams' autograph for more than 30 years.  Been fortunate enough to acquire a couple in person.  I like to think that I have a great eye for authentic Williams sigs, but here is a rare example of one that has me on the fence.  There's much I like about it and a couple things I don't like at all.  My only hunch is that perhaps it was penned in the last couple years of life.  Anybody have experience with Williams signatures from 2000-2002?  Thank you.

I do not like it.

Thank you for your input; I appreciate it.  This is for sale from a dealer, and I'm going to pass on it..  Even if it's real, it lacks eye appeal. What I find strangest of all is that I can't recall ever encountering one with similar characteristics.  That's why I'm keeping an open mind to the possibility that he penned it during his last couple years when his health was at its worst.  But if I had to wager, I'd say it's no good.
