Authenticity is Everything
I just recently purchased this Woodrow Wilson auto from a very reputable auction house (RR auction) All their autographs are “pre certified” by PSA. This Wilson autograph is giving me second thoughts. It looks good at first but I realized in almost every exemplar I’ve looked at he connects the last w in Woodrow with the W in Wilson. He doesn’t in this one. I’m a little skeptical now and would like a seasoned autograph experts opinion to put my mind at ease! Thanks in advance!

Peter, I don't know when Wilson started connecting both names. But if you check on line you will see an 1887 item for sale that is close and touching, but is not joined. Very similar to yours…..In my humble opinion.

Hi Peter,
In my opinion this WW signature is genuine.
RR auctions are pretty reliable as such. WW signature did vary particularly after he suffered his illness while still serving as president.
Is this just a cut out or other?
