I would appreciate opinions on the authenticity of the signatures on this hat. It's an "Indiana Jones" style hat with autographs from: Harrison Ford, Steven Speilberg and Sean Connery.
Hat was purchased in '99 from Scala's Ltd. with a COA.
Unfortunately, you can't. The signatures are so bad that I am doubting that the material making up the hat itself is even real.
Any authentication company you choose, will take your money and send you a fail letter. I can't even imagine a world where GA, GAI or JSA would put a letter with that item.
My advice would be to find the Scala's LTD paperwork and request a refund.
Thanks for the info. Since I'm new to collecting I was curious about the hat - I did notice both Ford and Speilberg's signatures can be very messy. However, I did find this Speilberg pic online and it does resemble the one on the hat
I am sure that PSA DNA will be happy to receive your check.
But in all seriousness, the 30-40 pieces I have signed by Spielberg & Connery as well as the 150 or so items I have signed by Ford tell me that you will be getting a rejection letter, and authentication companies don't refund the amount paid for their opinion.
