Would Love to Hear your Opinion about my Collection

I'm new here and I'm very glad that I found this Forum because I'm getting a bit wary about the Opinion of professional Third Party Authenticators. I've spent A LOT of money to get pieces of my collection and for my shop authenticated by JSA etc but lately I just find too many obvious fakes on auction sites authenticated by professionals that are somehow affiliated with these auction Houses. I always had more trust in the opinion of fellow collectors and Fans anyway. So I hope you don't mind taking a look at my items that are part of my collection or that I'm planning to sell or buy (especially those I'm not sure of). Thank you !

Here's a Parade Poster I'm not sure of because the Poster comes from a Teenie Magazine and is not a promo poster or something like that.

Context would be helpful as mid-80s Prince autographs don't have salutations. Looks like Prince signed this to a friend or colleague?

I think the handwriting and signature itself is fine. The cross underneath is right for a 1986 autograph.

Hi Alex,

thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I don't have any Backstory on this Poster because it was part of a Collection I bought and the owner past away and his wife couldn't tell me anything about these items. I also think it looks fine but what bothered me was the fact that the Signature is on a Teenie Magazine Poster and I can't wrap my Head around why he would sign such an item for someone that must be "close" to him in any way. It came with a Ticket from the Parade Tour (August 27th, Frankfurt)

Prince is pretty scarce so the price you paid may tell you something. Again, the only real oddity is the salutation. Prince would sign to a fan name very early career (78-79) but had stopped by the 80s. "Love God" is right though.

By sheer coincidence here is an autograph signed on 26/08/1986 at a hotel  in Frankfurt. The P is a bit botched as it's signed on a napkin.

The expert in this is Elfar Sigmundsson. He runs the FB page I referred to. I'd  be minded to ask him.

I was thinking that maybe it was written for someone that worked in the Hotel he stayed or at the Venue, the Limo Driver or anyone he could have a reason to thank. I don't know...

So the feedback is it's legitimate.

Congratulations. That's a really rare autograph.

Awesome, thank you so much for your Help ! Maybe I should open a facebook account to meet fellow Prince Enthusiasts. Now the hard part is to find a Dan, who is a Prince Fan and wants to buy it :)

Thank you !

For discussions on Prince autographs I'd recommend checking out 'Prince Signatures Group' on Facebook.

I don't have a Facebook Account (too old for this stuff :) but I will check it out. Thanks again !

I can ask for you if you give me your permission?

Of course, no problem. I'm happy for any feedback that helps

I think I will open a Facebook account and join this group. I am not really comfortable with selling this Poster but I would trade it with cool Prince Stuff (not autographed, just rare Vinyl or Memorabilia for my shop) if someone is interested.
