Hey,

I would like to hear some opinions on those two Wernher von Braun signature as I am not so familiar with his signing behavior.

Both autographs were definitely obtained from von Braun's NASA office through mail by a German collector. I have both letters that came with the autographs as well.

1.) Index card signed wit black felt pen. The signature is a bit shaky what made me suspicious. This card came with a standard letter which states that von Braun asked his secretary to send this signed index card. Can this be a secretarial or did von Braun always sign by himself?

2.) Signed 8x10' photo. I am not sure whether this is an autopen or handsigned. This photo came with a letter dated February 1973 stating that von Braun just resigned from his NASA office some months ago but that they still have some autographed pictures by von Braun of which they enclosed one to the response mail. That is this signed photo. Even with close inspection it is every hard to say whether this is handsigned or an autopen. The paper is not indented but one can see that is was actually written (and not simply stamped or printed) - either by hand or through an autopen machine.

I would be happy for your opinion.

Thanks!!
