It is with great humiliation and disappointment in myself that I post this public apology to a highly reputable organization and an esteemed member of the autograph community.
As many of you know by now my ill-fated thread was little more than a demonstration of my emotional and judgmental unhinging somehow masquerading as my passion for a hobby I've been involved in for a long time.
My opinions were ignorantly and rudely worded, expressed in an accusatory, disrespectful manner when all I meant to do was voice my personal opinion and prompt the opinions of others here. I can only look back on some of my own comments and assertions with disgust and regret. Not only for openly criticizing one of the premier auction houses on the planet but disrespectfully antagonizing a highly respected, experienced collector and authenticator regardless of what I think about some signatures.
I am extremely ashamed of my conduct and any false statements made in an attempt to start a discussion about some items I find question with.
It is with great remorse that I ever started the discussion in such a way, questioning Mr. Epperson's standing and ability in a very obnoxious manner, RR's professional relationship with him and vise versa. Despite what I may think about any piece of memorabilia, past or present, it was wrong and ignorant of me to express myself in such a way as to suggest any lack of integrity or competence on anyone's part.
The last thing I want to do is draw yet more attention to myself but feel this post is the very least that Roger and RR deserve under the circumstances.
To Mr. Epperson, RR Auction, everyone on AML and in the autograph community, I am truly sorry for my utter lack of discretion and common civility and only hope that people can find a way to eventually forget the little fiasco I am sadly responsible for.
Best regards.

Sometimes small statements are the sign bigger men. Well put Dee ranger, welcome back! & Many thanks again to Roger! Happy Easter
Hello. I'm new here, and had read your initial post. It was a bit strong alright, but who hasn't written something on-line in haste/anger that they regretted later?
To be honest, the angry views of one person would not affect my views on RR auctions one way or another (unless they had stacks of evidence!). I'd say most rational people and any half-serious collectors would feel the same. So no real harm done.
Fair play to you for the apology. Classy to do so on a new thread too.
We all live and learn. Chin up m8! If that's the worst thing you ever do - you'll be just fine!
It made for a lively discussion though! So you achieved half of your initial goal!
Dee
Thank you, I don't hold grudges.
I understand that people don't always agree with me but lets hope no one else disagrees the same way though. This type of actions add fuel to the fire for the bad dealers to use in nonethical ways.
This is a really honorable thing, dude! It is always easy to offend someone and somehow very difficult to apologies... You are the man. And Mr. Roger Epperson is a great dealer so you can always trust him.
By the way, you've mentioned Markus Brandes as well, you might want to get a little bit more familiar with his website and reputation, he is associated with Garry King what speaks for itself...
Thank-you to Roger and Bobby at RR for being so gracious and understanding.
@Seleznev - The only reason Markus was mentioned was with regards to the curiosity of his forum shutting down years ago which as I said before was pure speculation on my part. His reputation and associations were never at issue in the least. Please don't stir the pot. ;) Thanks again all and good-bye.
