For those of you who had ever read Walter Farley's "Black Stallion books, I've just learned his widow, Rosemary, passed away 11 days ago at the age of 94. I had the pleasure of meeting her on January 31, 2009 in Venice, FL. Her eldest son, Steve, had just released a new "Black Stallion" book, as he had/ has continued the series since his father's death in 1989. Steve, along with his brother, Tim, and sister in-law were also with Rosemary. I was able to get Steve, Tim, and their mom to sign Steve's new book. You can check out the photos on my "Signed Books" album.
