Hello Fans...I figured I would throw this out there for strictly baseball collectors who seek to get autographs through the mail the old fashion way...directly from the player...I have received probably over 100 autos but stopped maybe 4 or 5 years ago when I lost my contact list...but recently started it up again and since then received a few autos through the mail since the end of July...it is now currently (August 2011) so now I am hooked once again...please feel free to add pictures and comments about the autographs you received from BASEBALL PLAYERS with a simple envelope and stamp and not something you have received through the mail from a winning auction...
Feel free to include autos you got for free and also Players that sent back a request for money as that also happens from time to time or even if they wrote you back which is also an added bonus and a rare treat...
LET ME KNOW...
HAPPY COLLECTING !!!!

A paid request of nearly 4 months came back last night from Tony Kubek who also inscribed it very very nice which he charges extra for which I did not ask for...also a nice note he added...it came out fantastic on an original 1958 Topps card from one of my favorite sets of all time...need to get back on the TTM horse...I have been slacking for almost the entire summer...
CEE GEE,
I beleive a while ago you got Ralph Kiner's autograph. I have an old 3-finger glove I would love to have signed. Ralph turns 80 in October. Can you help me out?
Not sure if Ralph is still signing...my pal sent him a ball he never returned and he cancelled at his last live signing last month...not sure if its worth the risk...but I will get his info and send it over to you tomorrow....
I was geeked when I opened the mailbox yesterday and saw the bubble mailer. I knew it would come eventually, it was just a little discouraging to check the box every day for over a month and have it not be in there, especially since I wasn't waiting on anything else. I couldn't be happier though, it turned out great!!
Now if the Yankees win today, I'm going to be really happy!!
Nice pics! Were you in the bleachers? I have to ask because I've never been, but does the restaurant above monument park obstruct the view for people sitting in RF and LF?
It was a bad game to sit through...poor Joba...that pretty much turned the tide as far as I'm concerned. Girardi could have used him for at least 2 innings, maybe 3.
I was watching a video on ESPNNewYork last night and one of the analysts said if he was Girardi, he'd bench A-Rod and Granderson and put Chavez and Ibanez in the lineup...sure enough they're in there today.
I picked this up a couple of weeks ago with rewards points from my CC, it's not an autograph...but I'm psyched about it.
YEAH DUDE THAT'S PRETTY SICK...I WAS SITTING IN THE BLEACHERS LAST NIGHT AND THE MOHEGAN SUN BAR DOES OBSTRUCT THE VIEW IF YOUR IN THE FIRST 2 SECTIONS TO THE LEFT AND RIGHT BUT THEY HAVE TV'S POSTED ON THE MOHEGAN SUN WALLS SO THEY REPLAY EVERYTHING WHICH IS COOL...YEAH MAN..TONIGHT IS GOING TO BE PAINFUL TO WATCH...BIRDS ARE LOOKING FOR DESTINY...THAT USUALLY KILLS THE OTHER TEAM...KIND OF LIKE THE 96 YANKEES...ALL DESTINY THAT YEAR...
