I believe its the last surviving letter to be written by Jim before his death. Jim wrote on the envelope too and posted it from L Hotel in Paris  18th May 1971

The original lyrics for "Universal Mind" . Written on a page taken from a notebook (I believe its the one that got sold for 120k a decade ago, advertising it as the Paris Journal Notebook. The sheet has a red line in the middle of it that has almost faded, just like the notebook that I mentioned before)

Thanks for posting both of those items LKT. I've mentioned this to you before but have to say again that they're simply awesome. Jim's letter to Frank especially would be the cornerstone to any Doors collection.

This one just came in the mail.

A telegram sent by Jim to Poppin offices at the day of the JM film festival on 27th March 1970. He couldn't attend as his lawyers advised him not leave the country because of his legal troubles (although it was a huge deal for him) and he sent this telegram.
