Notorious eBay seller sportsnmore9999 has been offering a number of Doors LPs allegedly signed by Ray, Robby and John. I don't believe that they're authentic. One of these LPs, which is pictured below, has supposedly been "reviewed by Beckett Authentication Services (BAS) and is guaranteed to pass their authentication." It has a bid of $150 in the current Iconic auction.

What do you think about the seller listing so many of these, one after the other, four and a half years after Ray passed away?

They will keep pumping them out and bargain hunters will buy and flip them! Sickening!

I guess so. They just listed two more on eBay.

The one pictured in the OP has reappeared in the current Iconic auction with a full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).

Here's another one that just turned up on eBay with an LOA from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS). Wow.

I wonder which "authenticater" passed this. I would be embarrassed. There will be more.

The LOA isn't shown, but we see Grad's signature on the previous one. Oh, and I forgot to say...sportsnmore9999 strikes again!

No doubt that autograph authenticating genius Steve Grad did it. Probably knew it was bad but screwing a collector or losing a volume dealer. Guess which one he picked?

Dont mind me, I am just holding a paint brush.

Could you possibly make him aware of this issue?

This was just sold by eBay seller autographs-for-sale for $275.

and speak of the devil as I was recently commenting how I would never consider buying anything w/ BAS cert alone.

further proving that Steve Grad's name is in the toilet and continues to con the innocent/naive
