I'm not sure about that one but here's another similar one that just sold through RR Auction with COA by Roger Epperson for $11,128.

It is puzzling to say why the signed photo sold for $26,300.- other than 2 guys were bidding on it who just had to have it. The signed photo that Christopher posted is a much nicer item and a more textbook example of Jim's signature.

I agree that the one posted by Christopher is a much nicer piece, and that the other consignor most likely lucked out due to a bidding war.

For the most part you dont have a choice with these rare items when it comes to bidding take whatevers in the auction, yes ones a better example.
