I'm not that familiar with PAAS (but their certs look alot like the PSA ones).

What do the members of Autograph Magazine think as it's for sale on Craigs list by the original owner.

Bruce,
How are you? I am Michael Frost, The Lead Autograph Authenticator for P.A.A.S.. You could go directly to the P.A.A.S. website www.paasaa.com
Go to P.A.A.S. Certificate Look Up and you will receive the basic description for the number on the hologram. Can you let me know what city it is listed on Craigs List, because I believe the original owner sold this item on eBay. Is there a photo of the COA with the item just to confirm that this is the original item connected to the signature in question.
I do not see any issues with this signature via scan, I believe it to be hand signed by Michael Jackson on the back of a photo. If you feel something may be wrong or you have any questions I can be reached 7 days a week at 954 450- 4283 or specialagent711@aol.com

Doesn't look like any of mine which I believe to be authentic. I'm no professional but have put in a lot of man-hours studying :)

Hi,

I don't think it is real. To me, it looks constructed; that is the big letters are much too "airy" compared to the smaller letters. Michael was known to make the big letters "airy" - (he held on the top of the pen not to get ink on his hands or gloves) but not that much more airy than
the smaller letters. It looks to me, as if someone tried to make the big letters airy as Michael did - but overdid the job.

Also, the part of the letters that go under the line (the lower third of the letters) would go much deeper was it a real autograph. I know this is signed in the bottom of the paper - and that could explain the shorter "lower third" of the letters... but with such a paper Michael would not sign in the bottom. He would sign in the middle or the upper third of the paper.

I am not a proffessional at all - but I did study Michael's handwriting a LOT.

And I don't think this autograph is real. I am sorry.

LOVE

Betelgeuse
