One item that should be mentioned here is that the signatures appear to be *rushed*, but the photos show a different context. Look at the formulation of verified/authentic signatures and then look at these. In my opinion, this is a clever sales effort, but I'm not buying it. Bjarne's are unmistakenly legit. All three signatures on this piece are missing key strokes, such as the certain scrawls and dips (Dave's) and start/stop points (Chris, Kurt) in the signature flow.

Bjarne's is authentic. The only issue in using it as a comparison is that they are all examples of different ways they signed. Comparing Dave's printed version to his cursive is entirely not fair.
Maybe we can get Jeremiah to chime in. I'd bet 51% chance he says good.

I did agree that Bjarne's is authentic (read my comment again). I just don't think the new piece is consistent with authentic Nirvana pieces I own and have seen in my years of collecting. There are too many anomalies in the piece. I honestly wouldn't buy it for $8. You know why? Because I would stare at it questioning whether it was real or not, which would nullify the justification for purchasing it.

I was agreeing with you that Bjarne's was authentic.

But your other point about consistency is made moot by the fact that Bjarne's has a Grohl printed sig instead ofthe cursive one.

To use it as a comparison, to me, is not fair.

You make great points, please dont think Im picking a fight here, but Brennan is pretty respected until he shows otherwise.

I'm actually comparing the cursive Dave with other cursive Dave autographs, not Bjarne's. There's typically more substance (more scrawl in the rushed Dave autographs and not less) in Dave's than the other two  when rushed. It honestly looks like the same hand to me. The start/stop in Dave's is also suspect. Also, the Chris signature is highly alarming. Every single letter does not look right, not just one or two.

The Nevermind cd and photos look to be from january 9th or 10, Saturday night live,Nyc.
Just have a look at a few examples from a few days prior, you have the two nirvana hormoaning cds and the kerrang magazine 1st page 2nd or 3rd from top.
Plus the slts single number 5 on fist page signed in australia.

Paul,

Here's another thing we didn't delve into regarding the alleged signed Nevermind CD; the pictures supplied--except Cobain's--are not of the same time period of Jan. 1992. Grohl had longer hair at that time, and so did Novoselic (he was sporting a goatee at the time, remember?). The pic examples are of the wrong time period and do not accurately represent what's for sale.

Dave Grohl in person from 1995.
