This is an obvious forgery, sorry. Starmarks was a well-known forgery dealer.

This is one of the reasons I don’t like to live in Florida.

It gives a bad taste in people’s mouth.

I do agree with Steve that this is not genuine.

Okay. Figures, it was too good to be true. Thanks Bjarne.

I am curious though. What are some examples of authentic AC/DC autographs? I'd love to see the real deal. Thanks Bjarne.

Obtained in person in 1995.

That's very nice! I do see some differences. I read that some members would work on making their signatures different or "better" over time. I'd love to see each members "legit" autographs over time. Because I'm sure they have changed in ways, with age, situationally, during conversations, possibly intoxicated, etc. These could be variables. Also, it's not entirely humanly possible to sign the exact same way every time, in every situation. Unless you used a giant stamp.. Respectfully, Just joking of course. I'm not saying what i have is legit. But, i am still wondering. Where do you go to see each "true" autograph over the years? So, you know when you are looking at a fake, or the real deal.

Thanks Bjorn. 🎸

You just have to research and know your sources. Online there is this forum and the RACC group on Facebook.

But the fact that your guitar came with a generic 'certiticate' and from a company that sold forgeries, which is probably defunct as of now, should tell you everything you need to know about this item.
