This is a 500 HR ball before McGwire and Sosa and Raffy Palmiero. I want to double check to see if these signatures appear authentic.
Can you guys and girls help me out. I have read many of your posts and you all seem very astute and on top of what is real or forged. I would really appreciate you looking over my 500-HR Club baseball. Mantle and Williams are on the sweet spot. Do these autographs look authentic ? I have the COA from back in 2001 when I bought it, but I don't trust those much anymore. Thank you for your examinations, opinions and thoughts. Bob
Really ? Ryan do they all look like forgeries my friend ? How can you tell ?
Thanks Jeff. That's what I was worried about. I got this ball from someone on e-Bay in 2001. They got it from CSC Collectibles in Florida. I saw recently that they were banned from selling anything on e-Bay anymore. I called them and the guy told me he couldn't refund my money, even though the COA says for the lifetime of the ball. I told him it is a lifetime guarantee, and gave him the certification number. He said that it was too old and they don't even have a record of it anymore. So I will be glad to contact the Florida Attorney General's Office.
They are all horrible forgeries. CSC Collectibles is nothing but junk typical Florida forgeries we've seen and exposed a thousand times. "Lifetime Guarantees" and "Cert #'s" don't mean anything on these bogus COAs, it's just there to make the buyer give away their money quicker. Chalk it up as a lesson learned and do the right thing and burn the ball.
LOL !! I will...but I am still going after them. Thanks for all of your help.
Bob
