Authenticity is Everything
Annette Funicello Tribute
Annette passed away today, April 8, 2013 from complications of Multiple Sclerosis she'd suffered with from 1987. I was able to meet her at Disneyland in June of 1992 when she debuted her line of collectible teddy bears. She was featured in the August issue of "Teddy Bear and Friends" magazine which I had her sign, along with a 10 inch "60 Years With You" (1988) Mickey Mouse doll I had brought with me. I wrote to her in the late 1990s with a request that she sign my copy of her autobiography as well as Lorraine Santoli's "The Official Mickey Mouse Club" book and her husband wrote back, telling me to send the books and he would sign her name for her in them.

The picture of her with her stamped signature was sent to me by her husband, Glen Holt, after I sent her a new "vintage 1957" Mouseketeers ears/hat which I had her name sewn on the back last autumn.
