If that is for sale at any point, let me know.

It will be as soon as I can get some solid feedback on the signatures.  I have more signed pieces but they were my brothers...this was not so I am not sentimental over it.  Don't get me wrong - would love to be in a position to keep this forever but I am not in that position.

If you get confirmation it is real just let me know. I collect Black sabbath and would give it the perfect home!

Jane

Of course the signatures are what make this item special. However, unless you are aware I'd just like to point out that this appears to be a UK first pressing. Only the first batch(es) had the Big Bear credit. It may add to the value as this particular pressing is quite rare (in decent condition) or at least in great demand. If you want to make sure the matrix numbers for a UK first pressing are 6360011 1Y//1 420 for side A and 6360011 2Y//1 420 for side B. The 420 indicates it is a UK pressing. The matrix numbers are followed by the stampers. Also, on the early pressings it looks as though there are only three tracks on the B side of the record when there are actually four as there is no break in between the tracks "Hand of Doom" and "Rat Salad". Apologies if I am going into too much detail...

I believe the signatures are authentic. I have compared the Geezer inscription and signature with his handwriting and signatures in some of the letters I have that he wrote in 65-66. My guess is the cover was signed in 1970 or shortly thereafter.

Will you let us know on here when and how you will be selling the record? I would be very interested in purchasing it.
