By 1997 I was able to purchase one of Annette Funicello's "Bobby Mousekebears". I had moved to Clearwater, FL by this time and when Bobby Burgess (one of the original Mouseketeers) made an appearance with the Lawrence Welk All-Stars at a nearby venue in Feb. 1997, I took this teddy bear, along with "The Official Mickey Mouse Club Book" (which came out in 1995--the 40th anniversary of the show), with me and had Bobby sign both items. This was the second original Mouseketeer I was ever able to meet.
