Silver paint pens (paint pens in all colors) were around in the 80s, yes. This lp had been floating around on eBay for years. Personally, I don't like it. Mainly because there is an EXACT copy out there but in gold pen vs this silver. Also, the Mercury part is pretty poor. There are Life magazine pics of Freddie and the boys signing with red markers, yellow markers, and many different colored paint pens. My issue isn't with the color of the ink. I would say to stay away.

Yea but if this fake why sign across the face? Lol

Where can I see these pictures of the group signing?

Just Google queen autograph signing. They have Life magazine water marks on the photos. Why would a fake one not be signed across the face? Or the other way around? Forgeries can and are signed all over LPs. Over faces or not. I don't exactly understand that..

Queen-----what I mean is if something is fake it makes no sense to mess up an album by scribbling on the person face

Maybe that was just how Freddie did it. The style looks like his

Hammer, ill need to send the pic tomorrow when I can get back to a desktop. My mobile won't let me. But forgers put names across the face on albums all the time. That's really got nothing to do with its authenticy. I do agree that it looks better than most forgeries, but I do not feel right about this piece. I will go so far as to retract my first comment stating it not authentic, but I will say that I do not like this one personally.

Freddie signed across his face on albums as well as above his picture and on the side of his picture. He signed where it was convienant for him
