Christopher Lee and Vincent Price were extremely close friends.  This is a picture from This is Your Life the Christopher Lee episode and Vincent Price flew from his home in California to England just to honor Christopher Lee.  There is a wonderful Youtube  Christmas Message from Christopher Lee and he relates his warm friendship with Peter Cushing and Vincent Price.  Lee wears a hat that Vincent Price left him it was one that Price always wore for Christmas and Christopher Lee kept the tradition.  i am going to be seeing Victoria Price in a couple weeks and I   am going to try to remember to ask her about that hat.
