Ana Celia de Armas Caso (Havana, 30 April 1988) is a Spanish-born Cuban actress and model. She made her acting debut in 2006 in the Spanish film Una rosa de Francia and then she starred in the Spanish television show El Internado. In 2015, she starred in her first American film, Knock Knock, followed by Shadow of a Crime, Hands of Stone and Traffickers. In 2019, for her performance in the film Knives Out, she received a Golden Globe nomination in the best actress in a musical or comedy film section. In 2022 she achieved critical acclaim for her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe in the Netflix film Blonde[1], for which she received her second Golden Globe nomination in the Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama section and her first Screen Actors Award Guild Award, the BAFTA Award and the Oscar Award in the best leading actress section.
