It's the original program for the World Premiere of "That's Entertainment Part 2" at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City signed by both Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly!
I also have the ticket stubs from the evening and the orchestra seats went for $100 each. No, I didn't pay for them, the advertising agency DDB was nice enough to pick up the tab because I worked on the project promoting the event!
I was asked if I had good seats and I say "Yeah, pretty good, sat directly behind Ethel Mirman and the row in front of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, I'd say pretty good seats!
And, I distinctly remember Dick Cavett pushing me out of the way so we could open the door for Cary Grant!
We then we went over to a private party at the Rainbow Ballroom at the top of the Rockefeller Center and partied and hung out with Johnny Weissmuller who would do his Tarzan yell.
And ladies got to dance with both Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly!
Quite a night! I wish I had video, but the autographed program is pretty nice!
To be honest, I hadn't seen this wonderful piece for decades, but I was going through stuff and it was wrapped up for safekeeping in a October 24, 1982 newspaper, which you might be able to see in the picture.
