True first edition of "The Dragons of Eden" signed on the first blank page in red marker.

This one was a surprise. Back in December I ordered this book, advertised simply as in "very good condition" through Alibris. Most of the words in the inscription appear to be characteristic of Sagan's writing. While most signatures I've been able to find don't include the "an" in Sagan, after a significant amount of research I managed to turn up a couple of in-person examples which look to be close matches to this copy (one of which is Neil DeGrasse Tyson's copy of "The Cosmic Connection" shown on the recent reboot of Cosmos). Although I started off skeptical, I now believe this to be an authentic, if non-typical, signature.
